about

This double A-sided single (to use an old term) wasn't supposed to be so shiny. I was intending to record a noisy, raucous E.P. - trashy drums, trashy guitars, spitted vocals.

Instead you get the polished power pop of Crossing Every Line (a song that itself started life as an acoustic ballad) and the country-rock of What If We Went Back? This is more the Ballard of the Monkey Business E.P. than Little Rockets.

Either way, it's still very much Ballard. Enjoy.

Lo-fi, Sixties influenced guitar pop. Rough, ready and bloody catchy.
